Rugs, Rugs and more Rugs
During spring break I usually visit my aunt in Palm Beach. I miss having dinner at the patio with a full view of the ocean. My room which was actually reserved for me has a s small terrace overlooking the magnificent sea, and during early mornings the breeze coming from the sea is mesmerizing. I couldn’t wait to be back in that wonderful place. And there is something unique about the house of my aunt, the entire house has different kinds of Rugs. My aunt love to collect rugs and furnish the entire flooring of the three storey house with rugs. She has some Cheap Rugs too but most of her rugs are grandeous. The moment you step on the foyer, you will step on either the petales de fleur indoor/outdoor rug, the blooming peonies indoor/outdoor accent rug , the lattice scapes indoor/outdoor rug, the liona indoor/outdoor terrace rug or the westbury indoor/outdoor rug. She changes her rugs every season. Upon entering the living room there are a variety of damask microfiber rug,cocoa medallion somerset rug,acanthus scroll somerset rug,windsor panel somerset rug,antiquities somerset rug,regal promenade rug,koi fish hooked wool rug or artesian road rug depending on the season and the occasion. She has also a wide collection of floral rugs. Each room has its own rugs and no two rooms have the same rugs. My room has a au petit jardin topiary garden rug, a shell by the seashore rug and wild flower rug. Her room has a patchwork floral rug,a provencal rug,garden delights floral rug and a savoy paisley rug. The kitchen has a jacobean floral rug and an airflex microfiber therapeutic rug.
The library has a rooster hooked wool rug,tuscany rooster black rug and a vineyard rug.The entertainment room has a couple of geometric floral rug, harvest floral hooked rug and a floral filigree rug. The three bathroom of the house have different bath rugs and a manningham floral rug or a florentia tufted floral rug or a wild irish roses rug or a garden rose full bloom floor rug. It is quite amazing to have such a unique collection. I wonder what her new Area Rugs will be this coming spring.
