House Warming

Last week we had a house warming and all our relatives and friends were there to see our new house. The day before the house warming, my wife and I went to the department store to buy food and wine for the occasion. We used both our credit cards to pay for the goods. We bought a turkey and a lot of finger foods, salads and about a dozen of different wine. Our guest also brought gifts and by the end of the day our living room was filled with different lovely keepsakes. We started opening the gifts when the last guest bid goodbye. They have given us a dragon sun catcher, a fairy stepping stone, a couple of rain chimes, a hummingbird doormat, a chapel cross chime, a handcrafted angel wall plague, a heresy’s syrup candle, a stacked coffee mug, a paradise parrot clock, a international clocks, a personalized waxed seal coaster set, a prism stained glass, a personalized hometown jigsaw puzzle, a floral and button canvas print and a big hoot owl clock.

My parents gave us a mystic fire wine glasses set, a personalized wine glasses and carafe, a personalized casa bella door mat, a sweet squirrel tea light holder, a man on the moon hanging votive holder, a blue and white ceramic ducks, a peacock accent lamp and a tree frogs key holder. My parents in law gave us a squirrel lamp, a owl birdhouse, a fairy and bird figurines, a mermaid day dreamers wind chimes, a This house believes plaque, a wood wizard, an elephant planter and an elephant tabletop fountain. My best buddy gave us a hummingbird hanging clock for the garden and a glow in the dark garden bird and stake with a flock of tin birds set. And there were a lot more we decided to open them up the next day.
