My grandfather was a retired bank official. He had been in the banking industry for more than fifty years and he knows all about bank’s standard operating procedures and all. He knows everything about mortgages and our relatives and family friends often seek his advice when they are planning to get a loan, how to mortgage their property and the interest of the mortgagee in such property. One night I heard my grandfather and my father talking about mortgage, since I am now in my senior year in high school I can pick up some lines from their conversation. They discuss about adjustable rate mortgage, first mortgage, reverse mortgage, second mortgage, and variable mortgage.

Though I couldn’t comprehend the topic itself, I kept on listening because they are both throwing informative exchanges about the issue. My father is a real estate marketing specialist and he had deal with different house being mortgaged. As for me, next school year I will be in college and soon I will have to enroll in my chosen course. I have been thinking of taking up a business course as well, being in the business industry greatly interest me. Maybe after taking up a business course, I might consider taking up law. Complicated works runs in the family. And I am inclined to follow the trend. But first I need to graduate and pass the entrance exam for college and after that everything will come naturally for me as long as I have the guidance and support of my parents and most specially my grandfather.
