Children’s Party
It was Sunday morning and it was my day off. I got the mails in our mailbox and made a steaming cup of coffee right beside my apple cinnamon. During weekdays, I could only have a sip of my coffee a bite of bread with butter and I will need to go to work immediately. My son who is a year old will still be sleeping and when I return home from work, he will be asleep. During weekends, those are the time I got to spend some quality time with him. No need to rush, we have all day to play around. No high heels and business suits, only worn out clothes and soft slippers. I will just need to take a moment for myself while he is still asleep. As I browse over the mails I saw an invitation with a baby picture on it. I opened it and I read. A neighbor, a few house away was throwing a birthday party for his one year old son and I just got the idea on how I my son and I can spend the afternoon leisurely.
Later that afternoon, I dressedup my son, put him on one of his Baby Prams and off we went to the kiddie party. When we arrived there were a few babies in their Baby Pushchairs, half messy, half sleepy. But most of them were cheering with delight. The celebrant who had played since the start of the party was full and was sleeping soundly on his Baby Travel Cots together with his cousins. The baby party turned out to be a mothers bonding moments with the neighbors.
